TCIC/TLETS Less Than Full Access (TCOLE #4801 – 16 hours): This course is designed for users who perform TCIC/NCIC functions including Query and Criminal History Record Information (CHRI). Training covers TLETS databases such as driver license, vehicle registration, Financial Responsibility Verification Program (FRVP) or TexasSure, International Justice and Public Safety Network (Nlets) and Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) and Interpol. Training also provides procedural instructions for HIT confirmations and administrative messages (this includes broadcasting in-state, nationwide or to Canada). This course requires the TCIC/TLETS Less Than Full Access Manual. Users must recertify every two years.
Students must bring the TCIC/TLETS Operation Manual Parts 1 – 3 as needed, OR you may download the manual(s) and bring a laptop/notebook to class. The manuals are located on the Nextest website https://txletstraining.dps.texas.gov/nextest/index.cgi
