Instructor:  SSgt. Cole F. Woody USMC, Senior EOD Tech.

SSgt. Cole F. Woody an active-duty Marine has been in the Unites States Marine Corps for 12 years. He is a Senior Explosive Ordinance Disposal tech currently assigned to 29 Palms MCAGCC as an advance EOD instructor.

This is an 8-hour course.  This course is designed to assist LEO’s in recognizing improvised explosive devises made from military ordinance and readily available commercial products.  This training is about recognizing and containing, NOT interacting with devices. Intelligence from the state and federal government confirm IED’s at the border. With the gangs and criminal element coming into the country in alarming numbers the threat will become greater making it more important for LEO’s to be able to recognize IED’s.
