This will be a 3 ten hour day class. This class will be based around fundamentals.  High speed advanced tactics can only be accomplished if fundamentals have been mastered. The first 4 hours of the first day will be at the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center (LEC). One of the days hours will be altered to accommodate for low light training.

• Deploying from vehicles
• Working around vehicles
• Deployment form a vehicle/cruiser    
• Low Light/No light      

Individual Equipment list:

• Personal or assigned carbine
• Quality 2 point sling 
• Weapon light or handheld light of good quality
• Minimum 4 quality magazines and necessary support gear
• Quality optic if so chose
• 500 rounds carbine
• Personal or assigned handgun
• Holster specific to handgun and support gear to include belt and magazine pouches
• Minimum 3 magazines
• Issued or personal armorer/plate carrier
• 50 rounds handgun
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Knee and elbow pads
• Foul weather gear- hot, cold or raining.
